I am now supposed to start taking Arava. After looking it up, I am very afraid to take it. Anybody else out there had experience with this drug?
I still have to keep on doing the Plaquenil(400mg/day) and Naproxin sodium(1000mg/day).

Well, my treatment is still in the works. After I was diagnosed, I was put on Plaquenil because I also have liver trouble and that drug is easiest in the liver. That did not work, they tried the usual methotrexate which I had terrible side effects from. Plus, it’s not good on the liver. Now I have Arava, also bad on the liver but not an immunosuppressant like the methotrexate is. We are just finding out what drugs will be most benificial to me with the least liver damage.
